•Acrylic based earpieces- Acrylic earpieces have been used by anesthesia providers with a high degree of satisfaction and reliability for many years. Acrylic is a hard material that is resistant to warping, "drying out", and discoloring. Because of it's hardness, this earpiece supports a traditional snap-ring connector for the stethoscope tubing. It is robust, and will provide you with a sturdy adjunct to your anesthesia monitoring for many years to come. We at custom anesthesia stethoscope recommend the use of this earpiece because of it's reliability and value.

•Vinyl (Polyvinylchloride) based earpieces- Vinyl based earpieces are new to the anesthesia market, but have been used in the hearing protection field for years. Vinyl based earpieces offer a compromise between comfort and functionality, and provide an alternative for those who find the traditional acrylic earpieces uncomfortable. Because of their flexibility, there are some differences between these earpieces and acrylic based earpieces. The traditional snap-ring connector is not well supported by this material, requiring that the stethoscope tubing be attached directly to the earpiece. These earpieces may be prone to warping and a more rapid degradation than those made from acrylic. Despite these differences, we're sure that you will like this material as much as we as CAS do!!!

We send you our easy to use Custom Anesthesia Stethoscope self impression system, complete with easy to follow instructions, and a prepaid shipping container.

You use the system to take impressions of the ear you choose to use. We have you take 2 impressions to ensure an optimal fitting.

You place the 2 impressions in the prepaid shipping package and drop in the mail…

Within 10 days, you will have your new earpiece, adapter and 3 ft tubing.
